Safe Mode Recovery

Hold down your PS5 power button until you hear a second beep to initialize Safe Mode and restore your system database parameters.

# Step 1: Access PS5 Safe Mode

The pulsing blue light indicates the console is struggling to load solid hardware firmwares: 1. Turn off your PS5 completely by holding the power button down for 3 seconds. 2. Once the system turns off, hold the Power Button down again. Key-in the button until you hear a second beep (approximately 7-8 seconds after the first). 3. Connect your DualSense controller via a high-quality USB-C cable and press the physical PS button.

# Step 2: Rebuild System Database

1. Scroll down the menu options list to select Option 5: Clear Cache and Rebuild Database. 2. Click Rebuild Database. This will check database indices without wiping any recorded user save files or programs. 3. Allow the console to restart naturally and test.
