Update your Windows OS build via Settings to resolve the NVIDIA installer incompatibility block.

Update Windows Build

Run Windows Update to ensure your operating system version is updated to a modern build that supports the latest active graphics card graphics APIs.

# Step 1: Identify Your Operating System Build

NVIDIA installer engines will reject setups if your Windows release is outdated: 1. Press Win + R, input winver and click OK. 2. Look at your Windows Build version. If it is an old release (e.g. version 1809, 1903), the newest NVIDIA driver executable files will actively block installations.

# Step 2: Force Outstanding System Updates

1. Open Settings > Update & Security (or Windows Update on Windows 11). 2. Click Check for updates and allow Windows to install major feature builds. Restart your computer. 3. Run the downloaded NVIDIA installer. It will execute successfully now.
