Solve GTA Online infinite loading screens by suspending the system game thread momentarily inside Resource Monitor.
Suspend Game Sockets
Suspend the active GTA5.exe process for 10 seconds inside your Windows Resource Monitor to clear stuck matchmaking sessions.
# Step 1: Suspend GTA V Process
When the game gets stuck attempting to sync with a lobby server player, suspending the application breaks stale network sessions without crashing the app:
1. Press Win + R, key-in resmon.exe, and click OK.
2. Go to the CPU tab.
3. Right-click GTA5.exe and select Suspend Process.
4. Wait 10 seconds, right-click GTA5.exe again, and select Resume Process. Return to the game window; you will load into a solo lobby instantly.
