Disable Bluetooth hands-free telephony services to resolve headphones delay and latency issues on Windows 11.
Disable Telephony Services
Uncheck the "Handsfree Telephony" service option in your device properties menu to stop low-quality audio channels that trigger Bluetooth lag.# Step 1: Open Classic Control Panel Devices
Windows 11 tries to run headphones in mono hands-free modes for microphone capture, causing massive playback lag:
1. Press Win + R, key-in control and hit OK.
2. Click Devices and Printers (or View devices and printers under Hardware and Sound).
# Step 2: Uncheck Telephony Channels
1. Locate your Bluetooth headphones in the device list. 2. Right-click your headphones and select Properties. 3. Go to the Services tab. 4. Locate Handsfree Telephony and uncheck it to turn off low-quality microphone streams. Click Apply and OK. Your headphones audio will sync perfectly with your video now.
