To fix AirPods mic issues on Windows, change your recording default input properties inside Control Panel.
Configure Recording Devices
Change your Windows Default Communication Device parameters in your Sound Control Panel to activate AirPods microphones.
# Step 1: Sound Settings Setup
1. Press Win + R, key-in mmsys.cpl, and click OK to fireclassic sound panels.
2. Go to the Recording tab.
3. Locate AirPods Hands-Free AG Audio, right-click, and select Set as Default Communication Device.
4. Test microphone capture inside your VOIP software tools.
